Who are the vegan influencers in the UK? Can you name any? In this post, we will find out all about the best vegan Instagram UK; who are the vegan influenceers uk? And what kind of content do vegan Influencers uk create? In the vegan industry, we have beauty content, food and lifestyle. So we will learn about vegan beauty girl, vegan blogger London and Instagram influencers in the united kingdom.
Vegan influencers on Instagram
There are lots of different influencers on Instagram. The first influencer I have come across in my research is Fearne Cotton, who is a vegan. Scrolling through her Instagram, I noticed her content isn’t all about veganism; her content is based on being calm and promoting mental wellness. She has content about her podcast ‘Happy Place’. The vibe I receive from her content is a positive mental attitude which is great, but I wouldn’t say she is a heavy vegan influencer.
The second vegan influencer Uk I want to talk about is Niomi Smart, who I have mentioned in my previous posts as Naomi was my first spark of inspiration to be vegan back in 2019. On her YouTube channel, she has multiple videos of what she eats in a day which includes how she cooks and prepares her vegan meals.
Niomi also has her vegan skin-care brand called My Smart Skin which I am yet to try myself, you can view the products in the video above. As Niomi mentions in the video, they are vegan, cruelty-free and they do work.
She also has a cook book called Eat Smart which you can check out here. You can make delicious vegan recipes from her delicious salted caramel ice-cream. Niomi also supports vegan clothing which is quite rare for a vegan influencer. She tries on vegan friendly clothing in her vlogs.
Just like Fearne Cotton Niomi promotes a positive mental attitude and well-being, she demonstrates how she takes care of her body and mind in her vlogs by doing yoga and journaling.
Third vegan influencer I have been influenced by is Rachel Ama. I have enjoyed watching her cooking vlogs where she makes really delicious vegan recipes that I have tried and enjoyed myself. I love that she uses such clean and whole fruits and vegetables to create her recipes which is key to a healthy vegan lifestyle.
Marta Canga is another one of our vegan influencers UK. She is a sustainable fashion and lifestyle blogger, passionate about eco and imperfect green living. Her content on YouTube includes evening routines using sustainable and vegan products which I personally enjoy as I like learning about new vegan cruelty-free products on the market and getting inspired to try them.
Another great vegan influencer is Jess beautician. Her content on her YouTube channel is all about what vegan food she eats ina day and what recipes she likes to make for her breakfast, lunch and dinner. Her Instagram is all about different vegan products from night cream to vegan food products.
Top vegan influencers
The top well known vegan influencers in my opinion are:
- Bosh
- Gaz Oakley
- Earthling Ed
I am very familiar with the brand Bosh. I know the brand after trying the vegan cakes I had for previous birthday’s. They have their very own vegan cookbook, which you can check out here.
Gaz Oakley is in my list of top influencers because he has a great vegan cookbook which you can check in the link in the conclusion. The recipes in his book are full of protein and have no fancy ingredients and the recipes are great for meal prep and quick to make. This is great for me as I have a packed schedule most of the time, and I like to keep healthy when on the go, but I also need my food prep to be quick.
Earthling Ed is one of the best vegan influencers the UK because he is a vegan educator; this is so important in my opinion cause I would love to eliminate the negative connotations surrounding the word vegan that make non-vegans dislike us because they think that vegans think they are above non-vegans which isn’t always the case. He is a vegan activist from the UK and is widely known for his viral debates, speeches and video essays. He has a book called This is Vegan propaganda (and other lies the meat industry tells you); please check it out here.
Vegan Influencer Eats Meat
Alyse parker was a vegan for four and a half years. She is the type of person who loves to experiment and try new things all the time, for example, she enjoys things like not washing her hair for a month and seeing what happens when she doesn’t wear deodorant for a year.
Unfortunately, Alyse was inspired to try the carnivore diet after being encouraged by one of her friends. Hopefully one day she will return to the vegan diet soon.

Vegan Beauty Girl – Vegan influencers UK
The Vegan Beauty girl is Nicole Whittle. She is a vegan blogger, just like me. She has been vegan since 2007, so she has way more experience with veganism than I have. Nicole explores sustainable alternative products so no vegan can miss out on anything.
She promotes vegan products on her blog and even talks about vegan hairdressers, which I believe is a topic that isn’t mentioned enough.
Who is the Vegan TikTok Influencer?
Tabitha Brown is a well-known vegan influencer on TikTok after the viral video she posted on FaceBook that involved her being enthusiastic about a vegan product she bought.
Tabitha became vegan after watching the Netflix documentary What the Health, just like a few celebrities in my previous post-Vegan Celebrities UK.
In the video below, Tabitha explains how and why she became vegan after consuming a heavy animal-based diet.
Instagram Influencers on the Rise
It’s hard to predict who will be the next big thing on Instagram, as anyone can rise to fame with just one viral video overnight. But there is evidence that social media influencers are becoming household names rather than our average musician and actor.
It takes a lot of effort to build a following, and not many people can achieve it. So the talent for building an audience is recognised, and these influencers eventually become celebrities.
Influencer marketing is on the rise as businesses use social media for advertising their products, as it’s the best way for businesses to reach their target audiences.
Who is the biggest vegan influencer? – Vegan Influencers UK
If we are talking about the biggest vegan influencer with the most followers, Niomi takes that crown. She has over three million followers and subscribers across her social media pages.
Niomi Smart was part of the well-known gang of British YouTubers back in 2010-2016; the British YouTubers included Zoella (Zoe Sugg), ThatcherJoe (Joe Sugg), Alfie Deyes, Marcus Butler, Jim Chapman, Louise Pentland and Tanya Burr.
The British YouTubers shared similar audiences and built their followers together as their content was viral. This is why Niomi has the most significant following, as she was part of that great YouTube period when YouTubers became more on the level of celebrities.
Who is the plant-based influencer in the UK? – Vegan Influencers UK
I’m afraid I am going to mention Niomi Smart once again, as she is the original social media influencer in the UK. She promotes sustainability and cruelty-free products and the importance of mental well-being.
Niomi was before veganism was a trend and had input on the trend’s rise.
